Moosehead Lager is a refreshing, light-bodied golden lager made by Moosehead Breweries. This premium lager walks a delicate balance between malt sweetness and hop bitterness, and is made using only quality ingredients including 100% Canadian barley malt and naturally pure Spruce Lake water.
This premium lager has been a Canadian staple since the 19th century. Moosehead Breweries was founded in 1867 – the same year Canada became a country – and has remained fiercely independent ever since. To this day Moosehead is only made with 100% Canadian barley malt and naturally pure water. Refreshing and light-bodied, the golden lager has a delicately balanced malt sweetness and hoppy bitterness. It can take on food expertly, including Canadian poutine (chips, cheese and gravy), or try it with something heartier, like barbecue ribs.
